Biography
I am a Canadian based Senior Art Director with a passion for creativity and a sharp eye for detail. I have a keen interest in new design techniques and ideas and I continually seek opportunities to stimulate my creative perspective. Employing a “design thinking” approach helps me achieve impactful and innovative results for my clients.
Over a span of 20 years, I have worked for some of Canada’s leading advertising agencies – including OgilvyOne, McCann, Grip Limited, DDB, TrackDDB and Havas – where I developed creative solutions that answer specific business objectives.
My diverse portfolio encompasses projects from digital and social, to print, direct, retail, outdoor, point-of-sale, branding and corporate identity. I am as comfortable working within a B2B and B2C channel, as I am alongside not-for-profit clients, fighting for important causes around the world.
My projects have been recognized at leading international award shows in London, New York, Los Angeles and Toronto. I have been fortunate to rank on Strategy’s Creative Report Card for Canada’s Top 100 Art Directors and also to be a member of teams awarded Canadian Agency of the Year on three separate occasions, with both OgilvyOne and DDB.
Previously, I completed my creative studies in Advertising and Marketing Communications at Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning.
An avid traveller, I recently fulfilled a dream by traveling to Kenya to participate in a Global Village Build with Habitat for Humanity. In my spare time I love to work with reclaimed wood and explore food markets in pursuit of the next unknown ingredient.
